Wake from the network
Manage and access your devices regardless of how your users left them. Even when a docked device is in sleep, hibernation, or power off mode, your team can wake from the network for service and management, using solutions like Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (formerly System Center Configuration Manager).

Control who connects to Surface Dock 2 and how. Turn certain ports on and off and restrict what host devices can connect. Confine a dock to a single user, or configure docks for your team, or even your company, with access to the ports you specify.
